LECTURE NOTES
10/09/19 (Week 3)
In this class, we were brief on our first task for this module, and that is to select a well-established local campaign/event and conduct a case study on it. I decided to do a case study on Urbanscapes which is a creative arts festival.
INSTRUCTIONS
For this project, we were only required to conduct a case study on the chosen campaign/event. The situation analysis and event proposal are done in the next project.

FEEDBACK
17/09/19 (Week 4)
General feedback: Since we are design students, we should make sure our slides are designed well. The contents included in the slides should also be in point forms and not a paragraph. While presenting it is important to have a change in tones while speaking to keep the presentation interesting.
Specific feedback: Good case study on this event and there is a good flow of presentation. Be more cautious about the design, making sure everything is well aligned.
REFLECTION
EXPERIENCE
For our first assignment of this module, we got to do a case study on a well-established event. This reminded me of our first assignment for last semester's Brand Corporate Identity class, only this time it's entered around campaigns/events. With this project, I had to do a lot of research on my chosen event as the official website itself didn't have much information. It did take me some time to gather all the information and also to find the event's visuals from past years to be put in my slides, but it was worth it in the end.
OBSERVATION
Through this assignment, I observed that a well-established brand event has good branding and consistent brand identity. I also observed how brand experience is really important in order to create brand loyalty, and it can be looked at using a customer journey map.
FINDINGS
I found and learn that when it comes to branding an event, it is important to be clear of your vision, mission and also target audience, in order to reach them effectively. As for the presentation, since this was the first presentation for this class, I found myself to be really nervous.
Marketing management orientations are different marketing concepts that focus on various techniques to create marketing management orientation, produce and market products to customers. The management usually focuses on designing strategies that will build profitable relationships with target consumers.
